The thing is Stepney Andy Murray is a winner yes as a West ham fan I know we don;t quite have that tunnel vision but he does and if he thinks he has no chance of winning something he will not take part I say good on him because the long game in sport for many Sports people is what it is all about.

He hasn’t played a serious match for a year.
Wimbledon means playing every 2 days for 7 matches , potentially for 5 sets and on grass.
Understand he is going to switch to hard court and start preparing for the US Open in September.
Entirely sensible
Understand he has also just got a good deal on a David Lloyd membership so wants to take advantage of it.

He's proven to be a proper cunt for me....if you able to physically then you don't 'choose' to not play at Wimbledon.
He joins the cunt pile along with shearer...who also 'chose' not to play for England, despite being practically begged to reconsider a couple of years later, as he was still the BEST English we had.
